Each production session ("shoot") lasts 4 hours and is carried out by a team of 2 technicians. The number of videos produced varies depending on the type of content and the complexity of the project. The session includes equipment setup, filming, and teardown.
A pre-production session is mandatory before each shoot. This 60-minute meeting is used to plan the content, establish objectives, and prepare the session logistics.
Pre-production must be completed at least 48 hours before the scheduled shoot date. Any changes to the filming plan after pre-production must be communicated as soon as possible.
Each production session includes 12 hours of editing. Additional editing hours are billed at a rate of $70/hour (before taxes).
Minor revisions are included in the allotted editing hours. Major revisions (concept changes, complete restructuring) may incur additional charges.
Content produced by CASA Studio is intended for digital use: social media, websites, online ads, newsletters, etc. Any use outside the digital scope (television, billboards, cinema) must be subject to a separate agreement.
Full payment is required at the time of booking, before the shoot. Payments are processed securely via Stripe.
In the event of a chargeback, administrative fees of $75 will be applied in addition to the original transaction amount.
Filming and pre-production time slots are booked based on availability displayed in our online booking system. Booking confirmation is sent by email after payment.
Sessions cannot be cancelled — they can be rescheduled under the following conditions:
Rescheduling credits are non-transferable and non-refundable as cash.
The CASA+ subscription is a 12-month commitment. In the event of early termination, a penalty equivalent to 50% of the remaining monthly payments will be charged.
Renewal is automatic unless otherwise notified 30 days before the anniversary date.
The CASA 360 add-on ($1,900/month) can only be activated alongside an active CASA+ subscription and may be cancelled at any time, subject to the notice period applicable to the underlying subscription.
10.1 Transfer of ownership. The client becomes the exclusive owner of the final content upon full receipt of payment. Until full payment, CASA Studio retains all rights in the deliverables.
10.2 Raw files (rushes). Raw files are not included in standard packages. They may be obtained upon request, subject to an additional fee specified in the quote.
10.3 Portfolio and promotional use — prior consent required. CASA Studio will not display, publish, or otherwise use any portion of the productions (videos, photos, briefs, stills, voice, image of the client or any identifiable person) for portfolio, website, social media, prospecting, case studies, or any other marketing communication without first obtaining the client's written, free and informed consent. This clause aligns with the "Portfolio" provisions of our Privacy Policy and prevails over any prior conflicting clause.
10.4 Form of consent. Consent may be given by email to info@casastudio.ca, by signing a release form provided by CASA Studio, or any equivalent written form. The consent must specify the intended media (online portfolio, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, prospecting, etc.), the duration and, where applicable, the specific excerpts concerned. Silence, absence of reply, or mere delivery of the project does not constitute consent.
10.5 Withdrawal of consent. The client may withdraw consent at any time by written notice to info@casastudio.ca. CASA Studio will then cease any further publication within a reasonable timeframe and remove the content from its own channels within thirty (30) days. Withdrawal does not affect uses already made in good faith prior to receipt of the notice (e.g. third-party downloads, materials already printed), although CASA Studio will make good-faith efforts to limit further redistribution.
10.6 Identifiable persons. The client warrants having obtained, for every person appearing in the deliverables, the required authorizations (image rights, moral rights) under articles 35 and 36 of the Civil Code of Québec and the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms. A portfolio consent given by the client covers the client's own personal consent but does not cover that of identifiable third parties, who must, where applicable, provide a separate consent upon CASA Studio's request.
CASA Studio is committed to providing a professional and quality service. However, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the session in question. CASA Studio cannot be held liable for indirect damages, lost revenue, or consequential losses.
These terms are governed by the laws of the province of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of the district of Montreal.
